2018 Winter Olympics- How well does Team USA represent America?
The Pyeong Chang, Korea 2018 Winter Olympics are now in progress, and for the next two weeks will show case the best winter sports athletes in the World. Who are your favorite American athletes- and what do you know about their stories- about where they came from, how they've trained, and how they've attained this level. What do their stories teach about America?

There has been some concern that Team USA isn't as diverse in the Winter Olympics as America is, though the U.S. Olympic committee is working on that.
On that issue, here is an article about Team USA from the Sunday, February 11 Cleveland Plain Dealer. It comes in 2 parts.
And finally, there is the diplomacy involving North and South Korea. South Korea is our ally, and North Korea has been threatening to use the nuclear weapons that they've been developing. For these Olympics, the two Koreas have set aside differences and joined their teams together. For the first time ever, players from both North and South played together on the Korean women's hockey team. And so- South Korea seems to be dealing with North Korea in a way that is at odds with the more hard-line U.S approach.
